Three days, seven scientific sessions and a programme built around one theme: precision medicine in rheumatology. From fertility and pregnancy to vasculitis, systemic sclerosis, inflammatory arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, each session combines a case based interactive discussion, basic science, local experience and an international keynote, so every topic is covered from bench to bedside to the Gulf reality. The conference is DHA CME accredited.

Educational Objectives

By attending the MRC 2026 scientific programme, participants will be able to:

 

  1. Apply precision medicine principles across the spectrum of rheumatic diseases, from early arthritis to difficult to treat disease.
  2. Manage fertility, pregnancy and lactation in patients with rheumatic diseases through case based approaches.
  3. Recognize and treat the major vasculitides, including ANCA associated vasculitis, GCA and PMR, using current evidence.
  4. Integrate allied professionals, including physiotherapy, nutrition, immunology and mental health, into multidisciplinary rheumatology care.
  5. Evaluate current management strategies in systemic sclerosis, myositis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
  6. Appraise new regional research through the abstract presentations and apply relevant findings to practice.
