Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you from around the Gulf Region, Middle East and further afield to the 3rd Middle East Rheumatology Conference. The 2024 Middle East Rheumatology Conference is being held in Dubai, UAE from 19th to 21st April. We have an excellent opportunity to build on the success of the previous two conferences to raise the bar when it comes to education in then region and ultimately to improve the care of our patients. I am confident that you will be impressed and excited by the program for this year.

Once again, I am honoured to chair the scientific committee for the GCC Association of Immunology and Rheumatology. We have continued the theme of collaboration throughout the program. We encourage the participation of colleagues throughout the region as well as a multitude of medical specilaties.

We have a host of well-renowned and engaging regional and international speakers and we hope that they will deliver talks in a way that encourages interaction with the audience and generates discussion.

One again, the goal of the Middle East Rheumatology Conference remains to provide the opportunity for us all to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in immunology and rheumatology and to allow networking with colleagues from around the region. We hope that this will lead to improved outcomes for our patients living with autoimmune and rheumatic diseases.
